The 2024 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season finale at Autodrom Most, Czech Republic, presented a weekend full of challenges and perseverance for Ryan Vargas and the Leargas Security team. Despite a tough start during practice, where the team battled a persistent tight-center handling issue due to a failing left-front shock, the crew’s dedication and hard work set the stage for a remarkable comeback.

Friday

The weekend began on a challenging note as Ryan Vargas struggled with handling issues throughout practice. The root of the problem was identified as a faulty left-front shock, which was replaced, but difficulties persisted. It was a frustrating start, but the Leargas Security team showed their determination, working late into the night to make further adjustments and ensure the car was ready for the rest of the weekend.

Saturday

The team’s relentless efforts paid off, resulting in a solid performance and a podium finish in the Junior Trophy category. Vargas secured P12 overall, a commendable result considering the setbacks on Friday. Ryan was optimistic about the team’s ability to turn things around, stating, “A quiet but solid day and another Junior Category Podium!! 🙌🏼 Proud of our team’s efforts, after a rough day yesterday, the team overhauled the car and fixed some issues, and we found ourselves well in the mix. P12 overall may not be pretty, but with how the weekend started, I’m okay with it! Ready for tomorrow!🚀”

Sunday

Sunday brought a significant improvement as Vargas and the Leargas Security team showcased their resilience and skill, finishing in the Top 10 overall and securing another podium in the Junior Trophy category. Despite mid-race technical issues, the team maximized their performance and secured valuable points heading into the playoffs. “Stoked to see this result after the weekend started so horrible, LFG!! Proud of my team for working hard & getting the car dialed in, we maximized where we could despite technical issues mid-race. Got a nice Top-10 points position headed into the playoffs!🚀,” Vargas shared, highlighting the team’s determination and hard work.

Looking Ahead

As Ryan Vargas heads into the playoffs, the entire Leargas Security team is focused and ready to build on the progress made throughout the season.
